September 24 -- An Image Crisis
What does it mean that human beings are created "in God's image?" How does this make us unique? How does sin affect our ability to image God? How has Jesus changed this? How is being God's image bearer related to the life of Discipleship? We'll explore these questions and more this Sunday!
SAVE THE DATE for our first annual rummage sale on Sat., Oct. 7 from 8am-12pm!! It will take place rain or shine in the Fellowship Hall at First Church. All proceeds will benefit the children of NLA preschool. This will be a CASH ONLY sale and everything will be priced to sell. There will also be baked goods and coffee available for sale during the event.
The Annual Chili Cook Off and Community Day events at Gravel Hill UMC will be held Sat., Sep. 23 from 2-5 PM. 1st Church is participating again this year and Chef Andy Jocham will be defending his People's Choice 1st Place title. Please plan to attend and help support 1st Church and Andy.

The PFUMC Health Ministry is pleased to announce the start of a a support group for family members of older adults beginning Mon., Sept. 18th. The group will meet the third Monday of every month in Fellowship Hall. The program will begin with a light supper at 5:30 pm and the meeting will follow at 6:00 pm. The mission of the group is to offer support, information and advocacy to those who are caregivers for older adult family members and friends.
