Scholarships
Conference Education Society Grants 
The Education Society of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church will be offering a number of Grants to assist worthy individuals with defraying the cost of higher education for the 2012-2013 school year. Applications will be received no earlier than May 1st and no later than May 31, 2012. Amounts range from $500 to $1,000 and applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
Allen and Miriam Deiter Memorial Scholarship Fund
Any qualified person affiliated with Palmyra First United Methodist Church (as determined by the Scholarship committee) may submit an application for undergraduate scholarship funds from the earnings of the memorial fund, which are paid bi-annually to "First Church" by the EPC Investment Loan Fund.
Harry Seltzer Memorial Scholarship Fund
Harry Seltzer left a fund "to be used only for the purpose of assisting some worthy boys and girls who will become students at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA or United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH"
Any student of the above institutions, who applies, will be considered for grants in accordance with available cash from the earnings of this fund.
Application deadlines:
- May 1 for the Fall semester
- Oct 1 for the Spring semester
- Applications can be obtained in the Church Office
